Academic Retainer Services
For families who want one person accountable for their child's academic future.
I serve as a retained academic officer for a small number of families, overseeing strategy, instruction, and continuity across years.
This is not tutoring by the hour. It is long-term academic stewardship — one person responsible for the entire system.

Short inquiry. Who the student is, what the family is looking for.
Discussion
If there is a fit, we talk. I respond personally within 48 hours.
90-Day Engagement
Full scope of work begins. Both sides confirm alignment before annual commitment.
Annual Commitment
If both sides want to continue, the engagement renews annually. Either party can exit with 30 days notice at renewal.
6–8 families maximum at any time.
What This Is Not
Not hourly tutoring. No session-by-session billing.
Not a test-prep package. Testing is one tool inside a larger system.
Not admissions consulting. Admissions is built into the long-term plan.
Not a tutoring agency. One person. No hand-offs.
On Fit
This relationship only works if it's right for both sides.
The 90-day engagement period exists for one reason: to give both parties enough real-world experience together to make an informed decision. I'm not interested in families staying past that point if the work isn't landing.
If after 90 days we both agree the fit is right, we move to an annual arrangement. If not, we part ways — no pressure, no hard sell. I'd rather have six families where the work is genuinely productive than eight where some are just going through the motions.
What I ask in return: families who are committed to the process, not just the outcome. The students who get the most out of this engagement are the ones who treat it like a long-term investment, not a service subscription.
One person. One system. Across years.
If your family needs long-term academic stewardship, not hourly tutoring, this may be the right fit.
